DESCRIPTION:Women 18+ \nParticipant Min/Max: 4/8\nall creeds welcome \n\nWe’re opening Camp One to the women of Off the Grid for a homesteading weekend in the foothills of the western Sierra. Our intention is to refresh all who gather through a combination of hospitality\, local exploration\, and collaborative creativity. \nJoin us as we walk you through many of the possibilities that exist for those of us who live in Gold Country. Help us with the daily care of our goats and chickens\, gather wilderness treasures for crafting\, visit area shops and farmstands\, journal\, sketch\, blend wild teas\, and adventure in the nearby mountains\, lakes\, and rivers. \nOr do none of that and just catch up on some reading in our hammock under the cool\, autumn sun. \nWhatever you need to recharge. \nAll of this is interspersed and contextualized by the observation of our daily prayers and regular circle conversations. \nWe can’t wait for your company! \n\nIncluded: \n\nThree nights of in-home accommodation at Camp One\nHalal home-cooked breakfast and dinner the duration of your stay\nThe option to camp outside with all gear provided\nGuided local hikes\nOffsite recommendations for must-do experiences\nFacilitated crafting and journaling exercises\nAll the goat time you can handle!\nDetailed itinerary\, packing list\, and personalized assistance with logistics\nCommemorative D&T keepsakes to honor our time together\nNew experiences with friends and a lifetime of memories!\n\n\nYou are responsible only for your transportation\, clothing\, and toiletries. We will be sleeping in shared accommodations\, anywhere from 2-6 women/room. \nPlease note: This event will cancel if fewer than four registered participants 14 days prior to our adventure start. \nInclement weather will not be grounds for either cancellation or refund except in cases of extreme severity. \nBook your spot with confidence! This remains a sacred tradition amongst Muslim peoples to the present day. \nThey ask you (O Prophet) about the phases of the moon. Say\, ‘They are a means for people to determine time and pilgrimage.’ \nQ2:189 \n  \nThis is a family friendly event. A moon-sighting is never guaranteed\, but we get to hang out\, have some snacks\, and enjoy a sunset together. \nMeet us at Camp One in Placerville and we’ll caravan to our sighting location. Feel free to bring some munchies. Bundle up and don’t forget your water and a prayer mat! \nOptional: Binoculars \nInclement weather obscuring the sky will cancel this event. \nThere is no fee for this event\, but clicking the registration button will allow us to optimize our hospitality\, God willing. \n\n\nQuestions?
