DESCRIPTION:Men and women 16+\nAll creeds welcome\nAdventure Score: 2 \nSome say the ocean is the origin of life\, but since our initial nine months in the comparable salinity of the amniotic sac\, have we taken the time to really immerse ourselves in her? \nWe should! \nJoin us as we head back into the primordial soup of California’s Central Coast for a weekend of camping\, kayaking\, and coastal foraging! \nWe’ve been blessed with a fabulous spot along Morro Strand State Beach to stage this adventure\, giving us access to both open water and tidal estuaries for our paddling as well as abundant hiking and exploration opportunities through shifting sand dunes and teeming tidepools. \nFriday is our arrival day with a plan to make camp in the afternoon before setting out for our first coastal hike. \nSaturday morning has us on the water\, paddling our kayaks through the light swells of protected waterways. After a picnic lunch on the beach\, we’ll hike the local environs and begin our search for wild edibles before returning to camp where we’ll start a fire\, share a meal\, and reflect on the day. \nSunday morning we’ve got one final sunrise hike planned before breaking camp\, saying our goodbyes\, and heading home. \nSpring along California’s coast is a magical time we do not want you to miss! \nAlthough this paddling experience is suitable for beginners\, participants should feel comfortable in the water. \nIncluded: \n\nTwo nights of beach camping\nFive hosted halal meals (dinner and breakfast x2\, lunch x1)\nKayaks\, flotation vests\, and local guide\nPoint-by-point itinerary\, packing list\, and personalized assistance with logistics\nKeepsakes to honor our time together\nNew friends and a lifetime of memories!\n\nYou are responsible for your clothing\, camping gear\, snacks\, and transportation (including any related parking fees). \nYour trip facilitators are Jibreel and Fredi. \nTrip will cancel if fewer than 5 registered participants by Friday 4/25/2025. \nInclement weather will not be grounds for either cancellation or refund except in cases of extreme severity. \nBook your spot with a $180 deposit that is refundable up to 30 days prior to our adventure (refund deadline Wednesday 4/9/2025). \n\n \n \nQuestions?
