We are celebrating this holiday with a small group of family and friends underneath the redwoods of California’s northern coast.

Some of these trees are hundreds, even thousands of years old. Standing tall, strong, and straight, they are resistant to fire and offer protection to all that grows in the thick understory.

May God keep us straight. May we be blessed to remain in His Favor as Muslims, resistant to His Fire and a protection to all in our care.
