D&T Lite: Day Hiking with Goats!

Join us for a fantastic morning of free recreation, exercise, camaraderie, and goats! Bring your friends and family. We’d love to meet them.
Starting from the Magnolia Ranch Trailhead just outside Coloma, CA, we’ll be taking our packgoats-in-training on a conditioning hike of at least 2.5 miles, and maybe more. It really depends on how they’re doing. You’re free to leave at any time, but we’re starting at 7:30 am. If you want to hang out with us, please be on time.
We’ll be hiking this beautiful riparian prairie, much of it along the south fork of the American River. The hike is mostly flat, with plenty of opportunity to see wildlife include raptors and river otters. We’ll be picking up trash along the way with a plan to leave the place better than we found it.
Bring your own snacks or pack a lunch and make a picnic of it. Bring plenty of water. There are bathrooms at the trailhead.
