All ages welcome.
All creeds welcome.
Come join us as we look for the new crescent that marks Muharram, the first moon of the Hijri calendar.
Receive the new year with your brothers and sisters! Bring your kids, bring your pets, bring your neighbors, but most importantly, bring your enthusiasm!
We will go to the upper level of Larkstone Park in Diamond Bar, a beautiful green park with a playground, clean restrooms, and a picturesque view of the city below. Younger kids can enjoy the playground and feel free to bring kites, frisbees, soccer nets, or whatever else you need for a good time, insha Allah.
We will only be a few minutes away from the Institute of Knowledge, the perfect place to pray the nightfall prayer at the conclusion of our quest, insha Allah.
Bring your own water, prayer rugs, jackets, and snacks (we might share ours). Optional: binoculars or telescope
COVID-19: Social distancing and the wearing of masks will neither be enforced nor discouraged.
There is no fee for this event, but clicking the registration button will allow us to optimize our hospitality, insha Allah.
