We hope so!

We’ve lined up a stay at the Point Montara Lighthouse, an historic landmark mere minutes from gorgeous Half Moon Bay. An absolutely inspiring location from which to explore nearby towns, be prepared for some of the best sunsets you’ve ever seen. And the best part is we’ve got the whole place to ourselves!

Okay. Maybe that’s not the best part.

Maybe the best part is falling asleep to the sound of crashing waves just outside? Or maybe it will be the camaraderie of other incredible women?

Or maybe the best part is grabbing your poke pole and heading out to Half Moon Bay in search of monkeyface eels. That’s exactly what we’re going to do on our first afternoon together. We’ll have everything you need and we’ll walk you through just exactly where and how to nab your first fish. After that, it’s up to you!

Back at our lighthouse, we’ll clean and cook our catch, God Willing, swapping stories about all the lunkers that got away.

We’ll have plenty of time for both urban and coastal exploration and we plan on doing lots of both, insha Allah.
