Join me and Ustadha Shereen Sabet of Splashgear as we explore the tide pools of Crystal Cove State Park!
Sun, wind, and the relentless churning of caustic salt water challenge the many inhabitants of these wonderful pools. We’ll gather together to learn about life in the intertidal zone and all of the special adaptations that living things must make to live under such extreme pressures.
In the interest of keeping things safe and fun, we are limiting the total number of participants to 20 16 13. Due to extremely slippery surfaces, many sharp rocks, and the unpredictable nature of waves, it is suggested that children in attendance be no less than seven years of age.
Bring some food and we’ll picnic afterward!
This event is being organized as a fundraiser for The Majlis.
