For ages 16+
All creeds welcome.
Before the adventure starts, you gotta get there. But what happens if you blow a tire? What if the car won’t start? What about the sign that says you need chains before you can go any further?
Now what?
Spend the day with us learning how to diagnose and manage these all-too-common emergencies in a fun, low-pressure, hands-on workshop that will leave you feeling empowered and ready to plan your next big outing, God willing.
We’ll cover a number of pre-trip considerations including the inspection and maintenance of tires, belts, hoses, wiper blades, and fluid levels.
In addition, we’ll review the essentials of how to manage the most common roadside emergencies including blown tires, dead batteries, and minor electrical complications.
Under our guidance and using our tools where appropriate, you will explore and tinker with your personal vehicle. Participants will need to provide the make and model of their automobile upon registration to allow for targeted instruction and practice. Please advise us if your vehicle does not have a factory jack and spare.
Snacks and cold drinks will be provided.
Instruction will take place on a private lot in an industrial area of Anaheim, California. The exact address will be provided upon registration.
Bathrooms will not be available on-site, though we will have access to a portable toilet.
COVID-19: We are committed to keeping all participants healthy through smaller groups and the implementation of rigorous medical pre-screening. Once gathered, social distancing and the wearing of masks will neither be enforced nor discouraged.
Your payment of $100 is fully refundable up to four weeks days prior to the event (refund deadline Sunday 7/25/2021).
