D&T Moon: Safar Moonquest 1444

Come join us as we look for the new crescent that marks Safar, the second month of the Hijri calendar.

Bring your kids, bring your pets, bring your neighbors, but most importantly, bring your enthusiasm!

We will go to the upper level of Larkstone Park in Diamond Bar, a beautiful green park with a playground, clean restrooms, and a picturesque view of the city below. Younger kids can enjoy the playground and feel free to show up early with kites, frisbees, soccer nets, or whatever else you need for a good time, insha Allah.

We will only be a few minutes away from the Institute of Knowledge, the perfect place to pray the nightfall prayer at the conclusion of our quest, insha Allah.

Bring your own water, prayer rugs, jackets, and snacks (we might share ours). Optional: binoculars or telescope

COVID-19: Social distancing and the wearing of masks will neither be enforced nor discouraged.
